Government - Local, State, Federal

We understand the risks and challenges faced by multiple levels of government caused by problem native wildlife, overabundant native wildlife and feral animals.
We have significant experience delivering wildlife and feral animal management solutions to all levels of government such as Defence, Crown Lands, State Parks & Wildlife departments, Parks Australia and multiple local councils.

Risks arising from vertebrate pests, such as feral animals and problem native wildlife, can include:

  • Communities can be adversely affected by noise and odour problems in urban areas, predation on domestic pets, residential property damage & health issues (such as Lyssavirus and Hendra virus).
  • Environmental costs can include biosecurity risks & exotic disease outbreak, destruction of habitat & predation of threatened native species, spreading of weeds, plant disease transmission, land degradation and detrimental impacts on waterways and water quality.
  • Economic impacts are significant and particularly affect agricultural industries through damage to crops & pasture, damage to fencing, predation on livestock & competition for feed.
